If we want life to get better (who doesn’t?), it’s helpful to imagine what life will be like when it is better.
Not majorly different, just a normal day going really well.
To feel good we don’t need to win the lottery, or move house. Simply thinking about how we enjoy the little pleasures of the day _ a delicious cup of coffee sipped slowly, a walk in the park absorbing the sights and sounds of nature, snuggling down with a book for fifteen minutes.
What are the little pleasures YOU enjoy most?
- Think about them now
- Schedule in regular opportunities for them to happen
- Remember the last time, savour that moment
- Notice how this thinking relaxes you
